Senior Management Training and Mentoring
At Adman, we can help you review your job definitions and organizational structures to help you identify any skills gaps. We can advise on how to promote from within (which good companies often do) and how to recruit externally. These skill gaps may consist of ‘hard skills’, such as understanding financial information or giving presentations, through to ‘soft skills’ such as managing people, holding ‘difficult conversations’ with underperforming employees or negotiating internally or externally.
Some training needs are best met with short courses or training programs, others, particularly for more senior roles, are best embedded with the use of one-to-one mentoring, which might involve managers from Board level down to more junior levels. Mentoring involves providing close guidance and support to an individual to deal with their professional challenges and to identify opportunities to improve key skills. It provides a safe time and place to discuss issues and opportunities with an experienced manager from outside the organization who they feel can give them independent advice. At all times, the focus of our strategic consulting is on empowering and enabling your organization to execute your strategy. Training and mentoring is a key part of the process of building a great company.
