Tuggy’s Travel is a specialist travel agency and tour operator in Manila, Philippines. After 8 years of successful trading they had reached a sales plateau. Working with the CEO and founder we conducted a strategic review helped them redefine their strategy and processes. We combine this with ongoing management mentoring to ensure successful implementation.
Providing a strategic sounding board to the Managing Director and ongoing support by means of mentoring, Adman helped the company commercialise its technology and identify appropriate markets for explorations. We also provided mentoring on how to manage certain growth challenges. Friends of the Children of Orissa is a U.K. registered charity, that is a key funder of an boarding school for impoverished girls in India as well as a project which rescues runaway children found on the railway stations of Orissa. As a Trustee, Mike Trup has recently completed a strategic review and succession planning document to guide the charity’s growth for the next 5 years.
In 20 years running his software distribution company, Mike conducted numerous strategy reviews, as well as Open Space strategic brainstorming sessions. The company reinvented itself several times to cope with market changes. It still delivered average growth rate of 24%pa and profits in 19 out of those 20 years.
At Sussex Local, we asked Adman to assist us with testing the strategy behind some of the ideas we had for expansion. Over a couple of day-long brainstorming sessions, we were able to identify which of our ideas to run with, as well as discovering some new ways of thinking about our business we hadn’t previously considered. Mike’s approach is open, supportive and challenging without being confrontational, with enough humour to keep everyone in the room engaged and motivated.
